Azure Latch Shidou Guide: Formless Kit, Moveset & Cooldowns

The Demon

Shidou Ryusei is the pool’s best value: Epic rarity (8.5% odds) with a kit that outperforms half the Mythics (tier list). His identity is Formless finishing — every awkward ball is a shot for Shidou.

Moveset (Official Values)

  • {T} Pivot — feints Backheel Shot into a pivoting curve version. Off-ball, used as T+2. iFrames, 25s covering both moves.
  • [1] Formless: Bicycle Kick — near an airborne ball, looking backwards, on the ground. iFrames, 20s.
  • [1] Formless: Dragon Drive — the twin: near an airborne ball, looking forwards, while airborne (jump first). iFrames, 20s.
  • [2] Back Heel Shot — on-ball, iFrames, 25s. Two rules that matter: it bypasses the in-box shot debuff, and its volley version can’t fire if the last touch was an enemy’s.
  • [3] Dragonic Rush — off-ball closer, no iFrames, 30s, with a Dragon Header variant (airborne, looking forward).

The Formless Game

The [1] slot reads your camera and your feet: backward+grounded = Bicycle, forward+airborne = Dragon Drive. Drill both in a private server until the discrimination is automatic — the whole kit hinges on converting loose air balls faster than defenders can react. In the box, Back Heel’s debuff bypass makes him the best close-range finisher in the game (shooting guide).

Chemical Reaction

“Right On The Money!” — with an Itoshi Sae teammate: Shidou at 50%+ Flow uses Dragonic Rush on Sae’s mid-air Magic Pass (reactions guide). One of the easier reactions to set up in duo queue.

Verdict

If you’re spinning on a budget, Shidou is the style you’re hoping for: Epic odds, S-adjacent output, and a skill curve that keeps paying. His only real weakness is ground-game predictability once opponents deny air balls.
