Azure Latch Class Tier List (2026)
Last updated: 2026-08-18
All 23 obtainable styles ranked for the Mastery Aiku update (Update 17). Rankings weigh goal threat, flow value and how well each kit holds up in the current meta — community consensus cross-checked against the official Trello movesets. Remember the developers' own note: rarer is not automatically better.
S Tier
| Name | Role | Why |
| Mastered Aiku | Mastery — defensive anchor | The Update 17 rework centerpiece: reworked moveset plus the new Mastery progression. Best all-round defender-striker hybrid right now. |
| NEL Isagi | Quest — striker | Public-server questline reward. Rebirth Encore and reflex tools give the highest solo-carry ceiling of the quest styles. |
| Michael Kaiser | World Class — striker | Kaiser Impact and strong awakening pressure; still the roll-for chase style until Mastery Kaiser lands. |
| Itoshi Rin | World Class — playmaker | Complete kit with few losing matchups; excellent in ranked where consistency beats gimmicks. |
A Tier
| Name | Role | Why |
| Mastery Don Lorenzo | Mastery — defender | Questline upgrade over base Lorenzo; elite steals, but more matchup-dependent than Mastered Aiku. |
| Itoshi Sae | Mythic — midfield | Curve-shot king. High skill floor, but its overtime startup and control game reward practice. |
| Yo Hiori | Quest — support striker | Free from his questline and top-tier value for the effort; great passing and shot variety. |
| Tabito Karasu | Mythic — defender | Update 15 style that has aged well; +2,500% search interest this quarter for a reason — strong steals and mind-game potential. |
| Shidou Ryusei | Epic — striker | Formless finishing at Epic rarity makes it the best value roll in the pool. |
B Tier
| Name | Role | Why |
| Eita Otoya | Mythic — winger | Fast, sneaky, fun — but thinner kit depth than the A-tier defenders it competes with. |
| Jin Kiyora | Mythic — flex | Solid since Update 14, no glaring weakness, just outclassed at the top tables. |
| Barou Shoei | Mythic — striker | Stealth Shot rewards off-ball movement; strong in pubs, predictable in ranked. |
| Mikage Reo | World Class — flex | Defense AWK variant is genuinely useful; base kit is middling for the rarity. |
| Yukimiya Kenyu | Mythic — winger | The Update 16 refresh (gyro shot) fixed the worst of it; decent but not meta-defining. |
| Kunigami Rensuke | Mythic — striker | Straightforward power kit; works, but offers little the S strikers don't do better. |
| British Aiku | Quest cosmetic — defender | Cosmetic variant of Aiku from its questline; same competitive value, extra flair. |
C Tier
| Name | Role | Why |
| Nagi Seishiro | Epic — striker | Trap-and-volley identity is fun but slow into the current fast meta. |
| Kurona Ranze | Legendary — winger | Serviceable dribbler that rarely decides games. |
| Bachira Meguru | Epic — dribbler | Great feel, low output; a stepping-stone style. |
| Chigiri Hyoma | Epic — speedster | Golden Zone bursts are highlight bait, but one-dimensional. |
| Isagi Yoichi | Common — starter | Your day-one kit. Learn positioning here, then reroll — or grind his quest toward NEL Isagi. |
| Gagamaru Gin | Common — goalkeeper | The GK starter. Fine between the posts; see the goalkeeper guide for how far it can go. |
