What Chemical Reactions Are

Chemical reactions are two-player combo moves between specific style pairs, echoing Blue Lock’s on-field partnerships. Land the conditions and you trigger a unique cutscene-goal. They also feed the Chemical Reaction achievement (use an awakening skill on a mid-air pass from a teammate).

Known Reactions

“It’s Feeding Time.” — Mastery Don Lorenzo + Barou. The Lorenzo player, in Flow, lands Ace Eater twice on an opponent, then Undead Crash-passes to Barou. Barou, holding the ball on the ground near two opponents and near the penalty area, fires Long Shot to trigger it.

“The Strongest Guy…” — Isagi + Bachira. Isagi in Flow uses MY DIRECT SHOT as Bachira’s “Bon!” pass arrives.

“Right On The Money!” — Shidou + Sae. Shidou needs 50%+ Flow and uses Dragonic Rush on Sae’s mid-air Magic Pass.

“Super Goal.” — Kunigami + Isagi. Both players inside the enemy penalty area with at least one defender home; Kunigami in Flow finishes Isagi’s ball.

Special Interactions (1v1 Cutscenes)

Related but distinct — these trigger against specific enemy styles: “Delicious.” (Mastery Lorenzo QTEs an enemy Kaiser), “FINAL MATCH-UP.” and “GOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!” (overtime Rin vs Sae showdowns, with an Isagi variant on the QTE winner’s side), “You’ll Never Surpass Me.” (Sae’s Cross Elastico on an enemy Rin) and “Fooled You, Genius!” (Isagi’s awakening shot against Rin).

Setup Tips

Queue with a friend and pick complementary styles — random teammates rarely cooperate. Bank your Flow (see the flow guide) until your partner confirms ready, and remember overtime interactions need a tied score at 0:00.
